On Monday, 9th February 2026, Thomas A.M. Djiwandono took the oath of office as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Sunarto, S.H., M.H.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Thomas A.M. Djiwandono served as Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. In his capacity as Deputy Minister, Thomas A.M. Djiwandono also served as the Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from the Ministry of Finance.
Thomas A.M. Djiwandono was appointed as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia in accordance with Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10/P of 2026, dated 3rd February 2026. The composition of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors, therefore, is as follows:
