The latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in January 2026 indicates increasing consumer confidence in economic conditions relative to the previous period. This was reflected by an optimistic (index >100) Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) of 127.0 in January 2026, up from 123.5 in December 2025.
Increasing consumer confidence in January 2026 was supported by the Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and Consumer Expectation Index (CEI), both of which remained in optimistic territory at 115.1 and 138.8, respectively, up from 111.4 and 135.6 the month earlier.
