The Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI), Perry Warjiyo, has today (17/07/26) appointed 12 work unit leaders at Bank Indonesia in Jakarta. The appointment was made after the Bank Indonesia Performance Evaluation Meeting 2026, which discussed performance milestones as well as the direction of Bank Indonesia's priority programs in 2027. The appointment is part of Bank Indonesia's organisational transformation and leadership strengthening efforts to enhance the effectiveness of task implementation at Bank Indonesia in terms of maintaining stability, while also supporting sustainable economic growth.
In his remarks, the Governor of Bank Indonesia expressed hope that the work unit leaders would effectively implement strategic programs to support the achievement of Bank Indonesia's objectives. The Bank Indonesia Governor also emphasised the importance of strengthening synergy, collaboration and coordination with stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of Bank Indonesia's mandate implementation in support of national economic resilience.
