No. 27/302/DKom
The Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KIP) has again recognised Bank Indonesia as an Informative Public Agency in 2025. The award was presented by the Commissioner of the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, Rospita Vici Paulyn, to Bank Indonesia, represented by the Director of the BI Communication Department, Anton Pitono, at the Public Information Disclosure Awards 2025 held in Jakarta on 15th December 2025.
The predicate represents the highest qualification awarded by KIP for public information disclosure in Indonesia and emphasises BI consistency in the application of transparency and accountability principles. Improving on the achievement in 2024, Bank Indonesia placed sixth out of 46 public agencies in the Non-Ministerial Government Institution (LN-LPNK) category in 2025, from a total of 387 public agencies assessed. Consequently, Bank Indonesia has successfully maintained the predicate of Informative Public Agency for five consecutive years since 2021. The predicate is determined based on the results of monitoring and evaluation (Monev) regarding Public Information Disclosure by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KIP) from August to November 2025, also taking into consideration the quality and types of information, facilities and infrastructure of information services, organisational commitment as well as digitalisation and innovation.
The Information Disclosure Award reflects BI commitment to fulfilling its mandate in accordance with the Bank Indonesia Act (Number 23) of 1999, as amended by Act Number 4 of 2023 concerning Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (P2SK Act), and Act Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure in terms of providing transparent and accountable public information services in the public interest. Moving forward, Bank Indonesia will continue improving the quality of the information disclosed to the public by strengthening management, increasing services and utilising digital technology to strengthen public trust and institutional credibility.
