Today, Wednesday, 7th August 2024, Destry Damayanti took the oath of office as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Syarifuddin S.H, M.H, for her second term as Senior Deputy Governor after her previous nomination on 7th August 2019.
On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, Destry Damayanti vowed to execute the mandate entrusted to her together through teamwork with Bank Indonesia, while continuing to work closely in synergy with the Government to accelerate economic growth in Indonesia towards becoming the best in the world.
Destry Damayanti was sworn in as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 74/P of 2024, dated 10th July 2024, for a tenure of 5 (five) years. The composition of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors, therefore, is as follows:
