The latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in September 2026 indicates that consumer confidence in economic conditions remained solid. This was reflected by an optimistic (index >100) Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) of 118.1 in September 2026.
Consumer confidence in September 2026 was supported by the Consumer Expectation Index (CEI), which increased to 128.7 from 127.6 in the previous period. Meanwhile, the Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) remained at an optimistic level of 107.5, despite moderating from 109.4 the month earlier.
