The latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in May 2026 indicates solid consumer confidence in economic conditions. This was reflected by an optimistic (index >100) Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) of 120.9 in May 2026.

Persistently solid consumer confidence in May 2026 was supported by the Consumer Expectation Index (CEI), which increased to 129.7 from 129.6 in the previous month. Meanwhile, the Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) remained at an optimistic level of 112.2, retreating from 116.5 the previous month.
