The Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI), Perry Warjiyo, appointed 3 (three) new work unit leaders at Bank Indonesia in Jakarta today, 22 May. The appointment is part of the organisational transformation agenda to realise the vision and mission of Bank Indonesia, which has the overarching goal of achieving and maintaining rupiah stability, maintaining payment system stability as well as helping maintain financial system stability in pursuit of sustainable economic growth.
In his remarks, the Governor of Bank Indonesia expressed hope that the newly appointed work unit leaders would implement various priority programs to support task implementation at Bank Indonesia in terms of strengthening stability, while also supporting economic growth. The work unit leaders were also encouraged to continue strengthening synergy, coordination and communication with all stakeholders to support the implementation of Bank Indonesia policy.
The work unit leaders appointed were as follows:
- Rudy Brando Hutabarat, former Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for North Sumatra Province, appointed as Head of the Regional Department, effective from 1st June 2026.
- Sofwan Kurnia, former Advisor in the Regional Department, appointed as Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Banten Province, effective from 1st June 2026.
- Ameriza M. Moesa, former Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Banten Province, appointed as Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for North Sumatra Province, effective from 1st June 2026.
