Bank Indonesia has scheduled its Monthly Board of Governors' Meetings (RDG) for 2026. This determination forms part of Bank Indonesia's commitment to transparency and accountability in carrying out its mandate, particularly in the formulation and determination of the policy mix. The details are as follows:

The Monthly RDG is convened over two consecutive days as an integrated decision-making forum. On the first day, the Monthly RDG reviews the evaluation of current conditions and prospects for the economy, financial system stability, and the payment system, while integrating policy mix options. On the second day, the Monthly RDG deliberates on recommendations and determines monetary, macroprudential, and payment system policies within a single, integrated policy mix.

The Monthly RDG serves as Bank Indonesia's highest decision-making forum for evaluating the policy mix implemented and for determining the future direction of policy. The conduct of the RDG is stipulated under Article 43 of Law No. 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia, as amended several times, most recently by Law No. 4 of 2023. The Article stipulates that the RDG shall be held at least once a month to determine general monetary policy.
