The Red Book Statistics

The Red Book Statistics is a publication on Payment System referring to the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). CPMI is one of the comittees in BIS that has become a global standard setter in the Payment System, clearing and settlement which has formed to strengthen regulations, policies and global best practices in order to increase the security and efficiency of payment, clearing, settlement, and to support financial stability. ​Announcement:

  • In pursuance of improving the quality and services of integrated statistical data at Bank Indonesia and the coordination in statistical publications with intenational institutions, in 2023, the publication of Payment System data namely The Red Book Statistics and Payment System & Financial Market Infrastructure Statistics (PSFMI) are refined into an integrated statistical framework.
  • Publication of The Red Book Statistics will be integrated into the Payment System & Financial Market Infrastructure Statistics (PSFMI). Furthermore, we also provide a link to The Red Book Statistics publication on the BIS website publication in the form of The Red Book Statistics Explorer which contains two sets of tables, namely the country table and comparative table.
  • The Red Book Statistics page will be discontinued no later than 29 December 2023.
