The Sharia Economic Forum ran from 7-10th November 2017, consisting of seminars, workshops, international working group meetings as well as focus group discussions involving figureheads, experts and practitioners of the Islamic economy and finance.  This year’s theme was “Fostering Inclusive Economic Growth and Improving Resiliency through Close Collaboration and Coordination”.

The theme was reflected throughout all ISEF activities, which were organised as the tangible manifestation of collaboration amongst stakeholders in the Islamic economy and finance.  Consistent with the corresponding Blueprint for Islamic Economy and Finance Development, the Sharia Economic Forum was organised and implemented to support development through three pillars in pursuance of the blueprint
