The M2 position in August 2026 reached Rp10,448.1 trillion, representing a growth of 8.2% (yoy), following a growth of 8.3% (yoy) in July 2026. By component, the latest M2 developments were driven by growth of narrow money (M1) at 9.0% (yoy) and quasi-money at 6.5% (yoy).

M2 developments in August 2026 were primarily influenced by disbursed loans. Disbursed loans grew by 13.3% (yoy) in August 2026, accelerating up from 13.0% (yoy) in July 2026.
