Bank Indonesia is once again presenting Karya Kreatif Indonesia (KKI) in 2026, a flagship annual national initiative celebrating the development and creative works of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Organised through close synergy with 27 government ministries/agencies and active support from 34 strategic partners, industry players, the banking industry, associations and the wider public, KKI, or the Indonesia Creative Works Exhibition, represents the tangible manifestation of cross-cutting collaboration to achieve inclusive and sustainable economic growth. 

Entitled “Strengthening Synergy to Foster Resilient, Empowered and Competitive MSMEs", KKI 2026 reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the strategic role of MSMEs as drivers of inclusive, resilient and sustainable national economic growth in line with the Government's Asta Cita program. 

KKI 2026 is designed not only as a platform to promote products but also as an integrated end-to-end platform for entrepreneurship development and the MSME business ecosystem. Such efforts are realised through faster digitalisation, broader access to inclusive and green financing via the Indonesian Intermediation Acceleration Program (PINISI), as well as the creation of new entrepreneurs and a productive workforce through the Championship Cangkir Barista and CITRA NUSA programs. KKI also provides access to strategic partnerships with national supply chains and global export markets. The series of activities is backed by a commitment to sustainability through the KKI Duo Zero initiative, namely Zero Waste to Landfill and Zero Emissions.

​Aceh: Thematic Highlights of KKI 2026

This year, KKI 2026 highlights the distinctive character and cultural richness of Aceh, the 'Veranda of Mecca', a region with a rich cultural heritage of woven textiles, songket, speciality coffee, handicrafts, culinary products and blue tourism. Through an innovative and modern approach, Aceh's local potential is showcased as an inspiration for MSME transformation based on local wisdom, ready to attract both domestic and international markets.

As a symbol of collective spirit, KKI 2026 adopts the official hashtag #BeudayaMeusareSare, with its etymology rooted in the Acehnese language:

• Beudaya means empowered, resurging and independent.
• Meusare-sare means together, working collectively and united.

KKI 2026 Events

Over four full days, KKI 2026 will feature 44 inspirational and participatory activities, including:

• National Seminars and Thematic Talk Shows - Addressing strategic issues ranging from MSME digital innovation (PIDI Digdaya x Hackathon), intellectual property protection in collaboration with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) and the Ministry of Creative Economy, gender-lens women's inclusion together with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and WWB, to waste management through a Sustainable Talk with Waste4Change and Pandawara Group.
• Cangkir Nusantara and Championship CangkiR Barista - Featuring the national Barista Pejuang Kopi Nusantara competition, cupping and tasting sessions showcasing the finest coffees curated by Bank Indonesia Domestic Representative Offices, as well as tea and chocolate experiences.
• Karya Kreatif Wastra Fashion Show - Presenting fashionable apparel made from traditional Indonesian textiles by renowned Indonesian designers, including Sapto Djojokartiko, Peggy Hartanto, Dery Rizkianto, Auguste Soesastro and Danjyo Hiyoji.
• Business Matching and PINISI Synergy - Facilitating bank financing, including conventional and green financing, as well as international buyer meetings through the Buyer Mission to expand access to export markets.
• Creative and Entertainment Stage - Featuring prominent Indonesian musicians and musical acts, including Juicy Luicy, Bilal Indrajaya, violinist Mia Ismi and AVA Chamber orchestra.

• Jelajah Pesona Nusantara Area - Showcasing the attractions of six leading tourism villages, namely Iboih, Tanjung Binga, Wukirsari, Poncokusumo, Taro and Bilebante, featuring a prize-based passport stamp activity and direct booking of tourism packages.
• Bumi Lestari and Sustainable Home Décor Area - An educational zone promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles, featuring an interactive carbon-footprint quiz using the Green Calculator, a Green Pledge Wall, plastic bottle recycling activities and a sustainable home décor exhibition involving 68 MSMEs under the mentorship of Bank Indonesia.
• Rasa Cangkir Nusantara Area - Enjoy tasting and brewing experiences featuring artisanal coffee, local chocolate and premium Indonesian teas prepared by leading baristas.
• Consultation Corner and Business Deals - Providing information on business licensing, intellectual property consultation and certification, as well as business financing matching with banks and Fintech companies.
