The Bank Indonesia Annual Meting (PTBI) is Bank Indonesia's flagship high-level event (HLE), which has been held annually since 1969. The main agenda of PTBI is to convey Bank Indonesia's views concerning the state of the national economy, the emerging challenges faced and the direction of Bank Indonesia policy moving forwards.
The assessment and policy direction are expected to serve as an invaluable reference for relevant stakeholders, particularly industry players, investors and businesses, when setting policies and determining business decisions for the future. For the public, this strategic reference is also expected to build public confidence that Bank Indonesia in synergy with the Government and other relevant institutions are always striving to maintain monetary and financial system stability as a shared responsibility.
The 2025 Annual Bank Indonesia Meeting (PTBI) will be held in Jakarta on 28 November 2025.
The theme for PTBI 2025 is "Resilience and Self-Reliance: Synergy Toward Higher and Enduring Economic Growth."
This theme reflects the view that Indonesia’s well-maintained macroeconomic stability must be preserved amid ongoing domestic and global challenges. Sustained macroeconomic stability is a key prerequisite for supporting long-term, sustainable, and inclusive growth, as well as a foundation for advancing Indonesia’s economic transformation toward Indonesia Emas.
Bank Indonesia remains committed to fostering synergy in promoting growth and safeguarding stability, while helping to create an environment that supports productivity, innovation, and long-term progress.
In the face of a global economy that continues to stagnate and is overshadowed by uncertainty due to escalating geopolitical tensions, strong policy coordination among the Government, Bank Indonesia, and relevant authorities is essential to mitigate the spillover effects of global volatility.
Policy synergy is consistently directed toward supporting sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Bank Indonesia continues to calibrate its mix of monetary, macroprudential, and payment system policies to reinforce stability and promote long-term, sustainable economic expansion.
As in previous years, the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting (PTBI) 2025 is combined with the presentation of the BI Awards, as a form of recognition and appreciation from Bank Indonesia as the monetary, financial system and payment system authority to financial institutions, payment service providers (PSP), rupiah currency management services providers (PJPUR), corporations and businesses, including MSMEs, as well as individuals that have contributed significantly in four key areas as follows:
- Monetary and financial system stability,
- Payment systems,
- Development of MSMEs and the sharia economy and finance, and
- Supporting policies.
