On Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. H. Sunarto, S.H., M.H., swore in Destry Damayanti as Governor of Bank Indonesia, Aida S. Budiman as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and Solikin M. Juhro as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia.
The appointments were made pursuant to Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 92/P of 2026, dated 1st September 2026, concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors. The term of office is five (5) years.
Therefore, the composition of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors is as follows:
Governor: Destry Damayanti
Senior Deputy Governor: Aida S. Budiman
Deputy Governors:
The latest appointment of Board Members marks the continuity of leadership of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors in carrying out the duties and exercising the authority of Bank Indonesia in accordance with the mandate of prevailing laws and regulations. Bank Indonesia will continue strengthening its policy mix to maintain stability and support sustainable economic growth in synergy with the Government and other relevant authorities.
