​T​ourism has become one of the key sectors in the global and national economy. In order to support 2045 Golden Indonesia Vision, the transformation policy for the tourism sector must be adopted to make Indonesia as the world's leading sustainable and high value-added destination. The inclusive nature of tourism and its alignment with sustainability agenda urge a collective effort to foster quality tourism development. Bank Indonesia in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of National Development Planning, and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy publish Insight Report 2024 on “Accelerating Quality Tourism Development for Sustainable Growth".

This book serves as an important documentation offering various perspectives and concrete actions to accelerate the development of qualty tourism, with a focus on the five super-priority tourism destinations (DPSPs).
