Bank Indonesia is back to present Karya Kreatif Indonesia (KKI), or the Indonesia Creative Works Exhibition, in 2025, as an annual initiative pioneering the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) nationally. Organised through synergy with 24 government ministries/agencies and the active support of MSMEs, the private sector and the public, KKI is the tangible manifestation of the spirit of collaboration to strengthen the foundations of Indonesia's economy.
This year, KKI 2025 embraces the theme of
Synergy and Innovation: Keys to Strengthening the Role of MSMEs as Drivers of a Sustainable Economy, thus reflecting the joint commitments pledged to strengthen the strategic role of MSMEs as the main drivers of inclusive and competitive economic growth that is agile and adaptive to the existing and emerging challenges.
KKI 2025 not only promotes curated local products but also serves as an integrated platform for economic transformation by:
- Accelerating MSME digitalisation
- Providing public education and increasing business literacy
- Appreciating the innovation and creativity of MSMEs
- Connecting MSMEs with the global market
East Nusa Tenggara: KKI 2025 Highlights
This year, KKI 2025 is highlighting the cultural uniqueness and richness of East Nusa Tenggara as a region with compelling potential in terms of crafts, weaving, cuisine and creative tourism. Through an innovative digital approach, KKI is showcasing the local potential of East Nusa Tenggara as inspiration for further MSME transformation based on local wisdom in response to global challenges.

As a symbol of collective spirit, KKI 2025 is using the hashtag
#KalalaMareda taken from the Sumba language in East Nusa Tenggara:

KalalaMareda, therefore, embodies the spirit of KKI, namely
Togetherness in Work, Collaboration in Innovation. This is also consistent with Bank Indonesia's mission to develop an inclusive, robust and sustainable MSME ecosystem.
