# Bank Indonesia

> Bank Indonesia (BI) is the central bank of the Republic of Indonesia. BI is responsible for formulating and implementing monetary policy, maintaining financial system stability, and regulating and safeguarding the payment system, in order to achieve and maintain the stability of the Rupiah.
