The Swagger Stick - One command, one vision
In 1965 Yusuf Muda Dalam, the Governor of Bank Indonesia who also acted as the Minister of the Central Bank Affairs had the Command Stick used when he led the Unitary Bank. On one of the stick grip-handle reads the inscription : “Bank Negara Indonesia”, not Bank Indonesia. This was because at that time Bank Indonesia was fused in the Unitary Bank and its name was changed to Bank Negara Indonesia Unit I. In addition to the Swagger Stick, the Minister of the Central Bank Affairs also used a gavel when he was leading the meetings with the directors of the Unitary Bank and private banks.
