No. 26/168/DKom
The latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in July 2024 indicates higher consumer confidence in economic conditions compared with one month earlier, as reflected by a slight increase in the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) to 123.4 from 123.3 in June 2024.
Consumer confidence increased in July 2024 on the back of a stronger Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and a persistently optimistic Consumer Expectation Index (CEI). The CECI index recorded broad-based gains across all component indexes, while the optimistic CEI reading was supported by a stable Job Availability Expectation Index and an Income Expectation Index that remained high.
More information concerning the Consumer Survey is accessible via the official Bank Indonesia website.
