Siti Chalimah Fadjrijah, Deputy Governor 

Born in Temanggung, September 2, 1951, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Sarjana Ekonomi) from the University of Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta.  She later received a Magister Management degree from STM-PPM,  Jakarta. 

She began her career with Bank Indonesia in 1979 as a Bank Supervision Staff.  In 1998, she served as Head of  Bank Supervision 2, and Director of Banking Licensing and Banking Information in 2003.  

Siti Chalimah Fadjrijah was installed as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia by Presidential Decree Number 85/M/2005 dated 23 May 2005 and was inaugurated on June, 9 2005.
