Ronald Waas, Deputy Governor

Ronald Waas, born in Tanjung Pinang in 1955. Ronald earned his degree in Civil Engineering of from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1980, and holds a Master of International Affairs (MIA) at Columbia University in 1996.

He began working at Bank Indonesia in 1981 and during his career, he had served as Director of the Directorate of Information Technology for three years (2004 s / d 2007), then serves as Director of Information Management Special Unit in 2007 - 2009 and lastly he served as Director of the Directorate of Accounting and Payment System.

Ronald Waas was formally appointed as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia under Presidential Decree No.75 / P Year 2011 dated December 21, 2011 and taken his oath (sworn) on December 29, 2011.
