INDONESIA BANKING STATISTICS

The Banking Statistics Indonesia (SPI) is a media publication that presents data regarding banking industry in Indonesia. The SPI is published monthly by the Bank Licensing and Banking Information Departement, Bank Indonesia, to provide an overview of banking development in Indonesia.

Starting from March 2012 Edition, The presentation of SPI is enhanced to align with changes in the monthly bank report format that had already been implemented by Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 10/40/PBI/2008 dated December 24, 2008 about Banks Monthly Report. That enchament make changes to presenting some table related tables of Commercial Banks and Credit meanwhile data Islamic Bank and Rural Bank has not changed. A complete description of associated changes in some tables Banks and Credit in order to improve the data is contained in Enhancement matrix of SPI. That matrix contains mapping of tables in previous edition into tables in enhancement edition.
