SI-PMK
SI-PMK provides simplified procedures for debtor candidates to obtain small business loan from a bank. It is expected that this information system, which was designed to be a user-friendly facility will help debtor candidates to understand how to apply business loan to a bank, although each bank requires different procedures such as type of application form and supporting documents required.
This information includes loan definition, functions, benefits, management, types, and a systematic procedure to obtain loan, as well as business-feasibility analysis using financial ratios of debtor candidates.
In effect of the regulation on Bank of Indonesia (PBI) No. 3/2/PBI/2001 regarding to Provision of Small Business Loan, since January 4th, 2001, BI has completed the regulation for provision of small business loan. The regulation states that : (i) the bank is suggested to provide small business loan, (ii) the bank has to put the plan for small business lending in the annual budget plan, (iii) the bank has to provide reports on the given small business lending in the general monthly report, (iv) the bank has to announce the achievement on small business lending through Publicity of Financial Report, (v) Lending limit of small business loan is adjusted to Rp 500 million per debtor, (vi) the bank that finance small business lending can ask technical supports from BI, and (vii) penalty and incentives related to the achievement on small business lending are eliminated.
